تأسست وزارة الاستثمار في عام 2022م ضمن وزارات الحكومة الليبية، وهي الجهة المختصة بالإشراف على سير تنفيذ نظام قانون الاستثمار في كافة الأنشطة والمجالات الاستثمارية، وبذلك تتولى مسؤولية تنفيذ خطة الحكومة في مجال الاستثمار المحلي والخارجي، وعن توفير بيئة استثمارية آمنة وجاذبة ومشجعة على إقامة مشروعات إنتاجية وخدمية متقدمة تساهم بفاعلية في تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية للمجتمعات المحلية المحيطة بالمشروعات.
وتمثل وزارة الاستثمار المظلة القانونية التي تحافظ على حقوق المستثمر وتقدم له خدمات تتميز بسهولة الإجراء وسرعة الإنجاز بالتعاون مع مؤسسات الدولة ذات العلاقة.

The Ministry of Investment was established in 2022 as one of the ministries of the Libyan Government. It is mandated to supervise the implementation of the Investment Law across all investment sectors and activities. The Ministry also leads the execution of the Government’s national vision in the field of domestic and foreign investment, with the objective of creating a secure, competitive, and attractive investment environment that supports the establishment of advanced production and service projects capable of contributing to the social and economic development of local communities. The Ministry of Investment serves as the legal framework that safeguards investor rights, while providing streamlined procedures and efficient services, in coordination with the relevant state authorities.
